Update for Debian 12.5 (Bookworm):
No rule appears to need to be added anywhere in /usr/lib/udev/rules.d. On the other hand, it is necessary to add your userid to the lp group, as I have also reported here
Additionally, after installing the printer driver,is needed to get the device to print.
Since my earlier posts, Panasonic has made the linux drivers a lot easier to find here, although their verbal instructions there incorrectly (at least for Bookwork) mention the need for adding some rules in /usr/lib/udev/rules.d, while failing to mention the need for putting the userid in the lp group. This certainly has caused me no end of frustrating debugging![Crying or Very sad :cry:]()
