Thank you - the dpkg -I linux-kbuild-6.1_6.1.90-1_amd64.deb did it!
All fine now..

PS: It might be someone else did something to the system ..... will see how future upgrade/installs are going .....

You are welcome good to read you get it sorted. Hopefully if they did put the package on a hold or something stupid like that it has been eliminated now the proper one is there.
