Your inxi shows ports: active: DP-1 and seems to correctly show a monitor on that port so it seems to be recognised.
Do you use a DP > DP cable or some kind of adapter? So video works on that monitor?
Try installing PulseAudio Volume Control, package name pavucontrol, and see if you can select HDMI audio output using that.
