It looks like they use terms like "platform" and "framework". I used an incorrect term in my previous reply. They are "sandboxes" not "containers".I'm not sure shared libraries is the right way to say it, but it's similar.
Pretty neat overall. I've only just needed to use a Flatpak for the first time this week and even with the set of extra things installed with the app I needed it took less time and probably works better than building the app myself, plus if you delete the app it also deletes those dependencies which will also save me time.
