I believe I may have disabled grub showing in the beginning of boot by default? Either that or it is missing in action. There is no option for me to interact with it when I boot.
I have tried booting the grub files (grub.efi and grubx64.efi) with the optional data set to single nomodeset and changing the boot order but there is only a half a second flash before Debian loads normally. I have tried holding down/mashing the escape key as well as the shift key but nothing has changed.. the boot process still goes directly to the plasma login screen where it freezes.
Here are some screenshots I took if you are interested (I tried to attach them, but the size limit for this website is half a megabyte)
