It displayed in browsers for me too, it was in Ristretto (Xfce image viewer) where it bombed. In my browser it was videos at brighteon, Amazon Prime, and other randoms where it would not play them. Just got an "X" and message about, "No known video format something something".Hmm. Test image https://i.postimg.cc/SRMstZbW/test.webp will display in Firefox 134 on MX Linux, but that's using the binaries precompiled by Mozilla.
