Beginners Questions • [Installation] Monitor does not wake up after entering power saving

The monitor is connected with a HDMI cable

Can you test a different HDMI cable ?

I don't have a different cable. If I went to buy one for testing purposes, any specs or anything I should watch out for rather than just buying the cheapest one?

Can you test monitor power saving with a Debian Testing Live ISO (because it uses a newer kernel) ?
